The Three Horseshoes, Fordham is a family run business. Born out of a passion for great hospitality, we’re committed to bringing you the very best in local produce, friendly service that makes you smile with some fantastic wines, and a great selection of local beers.

Moira started her hospitality career at Le Talbooth in Dedham quite a few moons ago! With experience across a broad area of hospitality, from tea rooms, London wine bars to country pubs, Michelin star restaurants and more recently in corporate hospitality. She loves hosting dinner parties, spending time with friends and long country walks.

Sam has followed in his Mothers footsteps, a born foodie. He began his hospitality career at 16 as a Barista in a prestigious London bank.  After gaining his BA in Hotel Management, he was the 1st graduate at Hilton London Bankside. Thereafter, joining the Galvin Green Man, where he was promoted to restaurant manager. Sam likes the better things in life, a good red wine, a chilled craft beer or a cigar from his humidor.

Abbie met Sam at the Edge Hotel School. After her degree, she went to Southwold to reopen The Swan Hotel, Adnams, as part of the management team. So, if you need advice with regards to our selection of beers then Abbie is your girl! She too is a country girl at heart and looking forward to having her first dog!

Josh heads up the team in the kitchen. For Josh the word food is synonymous with family. Growing up the family always gathered for home-cooked meals lovingly prepared by his Mum; Toad-in-the Hole was his favourite. His grandfather was a butcher and still makes sausages and burgers at the age of 85. He also has worked at a number of prestigious restaurants, including Plate in London, Down Hall and Flitch of Bacon in Dunmow.
